We provide 3 contracting solutions for self-employed and PAYE subcontractors: Freelance Plus, CIS Plus, and Umbrella Plus. These are designed to meet the differing needs of individuals and the industry in which they work.
Freelance Plus - for genuinely self-employed subcontractors working outside the construction industry.
CIS Plus - for genuinely self-employed subcontractors working in the construction industry.
Umbrella Plus - for employees working in any industry sector on a PAYE basis.
These contracting solutions allow the subcontractor/employees to choose an appropriate solution to help them optimise their earnings in a compliant manner. This leaves them to focus on what they do best.
Compliant Organisation
Our group structure falls outside the Managed Services Companies – Finance Act 2007, Chapter 9 – and is able to provide compliant solutions and processes to give you peace of mind in your day-to-day business activities.
Insurance
Our FSA compliant model ensures that each Crest Plus solution contains a comprehensive package which covers the subcontractor/employees whilst they are engaged on a project.
Independent Legal Advice
As well as providing us with legal advice and ensuring that we remain compliant, our independent legal advisors are able to assist you and provide you with support, if you so choose.
Independent Accountancy Service
Crest Plus are able to make available the services of Independent Accountancy Service Providers to individual subcontractors, if they so choose.

In order to assist you, we have divided the UK into three geographical areas so that, no matter where your business is based, we have a dedicated team in our Chester office to support you and meet your business needs while providing high levels of customer service.
Easy Registration
Our streamlined registration process is designed to make life easy for you and the subcontractor. This can be completed either online or over the phone, where we will talk through and pre-populate the registration documents.
Self Employment Checklists
Our self-employed subcontractors complete a self-employment checklist for projects; this can be done either online or over the phone, whichever is more convenient.
Prompt Payment
We will work with you to ensure that you receive the required invoices in line with how you run your payroll, or we can set up Self-Billing Agreements if this is preferable.
